The Colorado Center for the Blind embodies the National Federation of the Blind philosophy, teaching that with proper training, opportunity, and positivePicture of cane travel in a denver Light rail station. attitude, blind people compete on terms of equality with their sighted peers and fully participate in their community. The CCB serves all those affected by an individual's blindness through a world-class staff, resources, and facilities supported by a solid, diversified funding base. The result is the establishment of the Colorado Center for the Blind as a leader in all areas of blindness including outreach, public education, information, and training. Center participants become successful people and will participate actively in the blind and greater community.
